We are a friendly road running club that meets every Monday at 7 pm at Jackson's Bar, Waterside, Evesham. Runners of all abilities are welcome, whether training for competitions and races, or if you just want to run for fun and keep fit. Vets Finish Strong at Naunton Nearly 19

Evesham Vale Running Club's veterans put in a strong performance at the Naunton Nearly 19 on January 11th.  The club turned out in force for this annual jaunt through the Gloucestershire countryside, with 16 runners and 8 volunteers taking part.  Ned Lammas led the club, finishing 11th and 3rd Vet in 2:23:09.  Sheila Barbour was 2nd Lady and took home the female Vet award.  Chris Taylor showed the youngsters how to celebrate, finishing 47th on his 60th birthday.  Elaine Clarke ran 13 minutes faster than her 2013 performance.  Rounding out the vets performance, David Hughes's finish was the furthest he has ever run.  The Senior runners had a good outing, too, with several enjoying their first experience of endurance trail running.  Caroline Morgan was the star of the younger generation, beating leg cramps in the final miles to beat her 2014 time by 12 minutes.

 Winchcombe Way Runs

 One Saturday each month, club members will jog out along a section of the Winchcombe Way.  The run will be approximately 5 miles long, and where possible loop back on other nearby footpaths to introduce people to new routes.  For more information, contact Di or Nicola via the forum or Facebook pages.

 New Runner Nights

New runners are welcome to any club run.  However, we understand how hard it can be to just "drop in".  Therefore, the first Monday of each month is a designated "New Runner" night, where you can be sure that we'll be making a particular effort to welcome runners who want to learn more about the club before deciding whether to join.

Join a group of  runners to suit your desired pace and distance.  Meet at Jacksons Bar at 7pm.  Runs typically last 35-75 minutes, depending on your group.

Push yourself and improve - at your capability level. Sessions are led by one of the club coaches, and are open to all runners. Meet at Jacksons Bar at 7pm. Sessions typically last 60-75 minutes.
